Admissions & school information

When did the school open?

SMHS officially opened on 1st June 2006.

Are you currently accepting enrolments?

Yes. Please visit the Registration page or contact us directly.

What curriculum do you follow?

We follow the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) curriculum.

What languages are taught?

English is the first language, Hindi is the second and Telugu is offered as a third language, in line with CBSE norms.

What is the class strength?

Between 35 and 38 students per class.

Is there a school uniform?

Yes.

Does the school have a playground?

Yes.

Does the school have branches?

No. There is one campus, located at Nacharam, Hyderabad.

What transport is available?

SMHS operates a minibus pickup and drop service. Routes are updated regularly to meet demand. All vehicles are maintained, and drivers are monitored and tracked. Safety is non-negotiable.

What is the mode of communication in school?

All students are expected to communicate exclusively in English throughout the school day.

What qualifications do teachers hold?

All classroom teachers are fully qualified relevant to their subject and level. Continuous teacher development is a core part of how SMHS operates.

What extra-curricular activities are available?

Students have access to Library, sports events, art and crafts, drama, board games, music and dance clubs and a full range of Bag Free Learning activities every Saturday.

Day at SMHS

What are the school hours?

Nursery & PP: 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Grade I to X: 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Bag Free Saturdays conclude at 12:30 PM.

What is the teacher-student ratio?

We maintain a healthy teacher-student ratio to ensure personalised attention, typically around 1:25.
